Risk zone 1
This risk zone reminded me of the article “Integrating Telehealth Services in SW Practice for Vulnerable groups”, specifically the part where they talk about how technology in the field have multiple risks due to breach of information because of Telehealth services. This risk zone requires techs to let users know where their information is going. It also exemplifies the “Could AI go rogue” video we watched earlier in the semester, which discussed how AI could possibly become a bad thing due to the information people may share with it.
Risk zone 2
Recently we’d watched a one minute clip of a girl talking about how the addiction of social media was weighing her mental down, this relates to this topic because the techs are supposed to be trying to identify the addiction and address it’s affect on well-being. It also directly  correlates to the “social media in society” article we read earlier in the year because the article also addresses social media algorithms and its effect on mental health.
Risk zone 3
This zone is discussed throughout many articles in our semester due to its relation of job displacement. Majority of our coursework has related to this zone but “How and Why is the Power of Big Tech Increasing in the Policy Process” and “AI in society” both discuss it directly in sections where they speak on the disadvantages it has on the job market and how much money is put into advancing the technology.

Risk zone 5

The “Could AI go rogue” video directly discusses this zone of risk as it talks about why the U.S. is steadily advancing AI even though there are multiple downsides to it. The government wants to keep up with China and this zone discusses the use of technology for militia. This zone also directly correlates to zone one as they both integrate date leaks and where information is stored.
