Welcome to the Social Work Tech Blog! 

This is where you will post your three blog posts for this class.  These posts will be due the first week of class, for the Introductory Post, the week of June 17th for the post on Humane Tech and Social Media, and the week of July 1st for the post on Technology and Relationships.  You will notice there are three categories in the blog post section of the dashboard that match these three topics.

Below you will find a video that walks you through how to create and publish your blog post, in case you have not used this format in the past.  While you are required to make three blog posts, you may find that there are other topics and issues you would like to discuss.  Feel free to post here regarding any issue of interest to you regarding Technology and Social Work Practice.  It might be an interesting place to discuss this ideas with your fellow students.

In the navigation bar at the topic of the page, you will find a HOME link, as well as three links for posts on each of the three topics:  Intro posts, new social media posts, and group support and isolation post.   The post link is where all of your blog posts will be located – provided you selected the correct category for your post.  If you don’t see your post on this page, go back and see if you checked the correct category.   That will help to organize the posts for you to read and comment on.  You are expected to read at least 4 posts from your classmates, and comment on at least 2 of them.   Just email me with any questions.  mpalmiter@gsu.edu
